Therapy is undoubtedly a collaborative process between the therapist and patient. You should feel safe and comfortable to talk openly about your feelings and concerns, in an environment where you feel heard and acknowledged.
I cannot stress enough that your level of personal comfort with me as your therapist, should be one of the most important deciding factors when considering entering or continuing therapy. This should inform your decision to continue therapy with a particular therapist.
